Downtown Houston Urban Park

Discovery Green’s design models that of many other great urban parks around the country. This beautiful urban park is a 12 acre green space developed with the intension of preserving the enviroment. The Discovery Green Conservancy, established at the inception of the project, is a nonprofit organization in charge of the design and construction as well as funding and operating the entire project.

Houston’s mayor Bill White has this to say about the newest community addition to downtown Houston.

“Discovery Green will be a wonderful attraction for our city. We are proud of the commitment from the Discovery Green Conservancy in creating this unique destination in the heart of downtown Houston. For a long time to come, Discovery Green will be an asset to Houstonians of all ages and visitors from everywhere.
